UNTITLED ARCTIC PROJECT

We are in development on a project about people of a unique traditional background and their existence in the modern world. The Inuit peoples' of the Alaskan Arctic have a complex struggle to endure as they work to preserve their cultural values while remaining current in the 21st century. In Barrow, AK, the most northern settlement in North America, a peculiar situation has evolved as small-town America meets traditional native practices and values. As small town vice threatens the community, the people endure to maintain their roots through the incredible subsistence Bowhead Whale Hunt. Poe Street Films is currently in early pre-production and fundraising stages on this project; please contact us for more information as we develop the story and seek out funding.
